Board of Directors

The Community Scholarship Fund of Barrington mourns the passing of Mary Alyce Gasbarro, a beloved board member whose generosity and spirit have left a lasting legacy.

Mary Alyce served on the CSF board for 37 years, bringing an unmatched knowledge of the fund’s 60-plus-year history to every meeting — whether joining via Zoom from Florida or attending in person in Barrington. She was personally involved in nearly every scholarship presented at our annual Awards Ceremony and delighted in sharing her stories and memories at our events.

In her honor, her family has established the Mary Alyce Gasbarro Scholarship to support future generations in pursuing their educational goals. Her dedication to education and community will continue to make a meaningful difference for years to come.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones.

To honor Mary Alyce’s memory, contributions to her scholarship may be made at www.csfofbarrington.com or by check payable to CSF of Barrington, PO Box 300, Barrington, RI 02806. Please note the Mary Alyce Gasbarro Scholarship in the memo line or through PayPal to ensure your gift is directed appropriately.
